dad

Dad went to be with the Lord on January, 1, 2009. He left a legacy of helping those in need and taking in those who needed a home from time to time as well as leaving a lifetime of love for his family and friends. While he was in the hospital Dad told me that he hoped to make it until we brought Lena home and I am sad that he won't be here to welcome her (or whoever the Lord has in store for us to bring home) with his usual open arms, but I know he will be rejoicing in heaven!

    Your December post was an encouragement to me today. Our social worker comes back out on Feb. 2 to update our study and to talk to us about options. We have been talking about the possibility of being open to an older child. Though I don't know where our journey will lead you are right when you say it is not really our time here but HIS. Let's make it count. Thanks for the encouragement.

    Thanks for including us on your journey and we will make the trip with you as we read your blogs over the coming weeks and keep you in our prayers.

    I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. We prayed for your family during that hard time and continue to do so.
